Ray Fagan
President

A businessman once said – “Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is, I don’t know which half.” Well we do. Direct marketing is part of HF Direct’s DNA.
Measurement and accountability are at the core of our mission. And after 30 years in business, working on hundreds of campaigns, I still get a kick out of helping our clients drive real results and ROI.
A lot has changed over the years. Digital channels are increasingly intersecting with traditional media to create exciting new opportunities. Programs that used to take months or weeks now can be implemented in days. HF continues to embrace change, evolving to take advantage of new direct response strategies and technology. I get a kick out of that, too.

David Johnson
Senior Vice President
“Results matter to me.”
David, aka, Captain Results, wields his powers of creative and analytical thinking to help clients achieve their goals.
After graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Go Blazers!), David honed his analytical skills at accounting firm KPMG. His next gig as Account Executive at a marketing services firm exposed him to a diverse mix of client-side and agency-side work – his people skills and creative thinking flourished. He then moved on to Superior Bank, where as Marketing Manager he conducted consumer and product research, implemented customer segmentation and messaging strategies, and managed household and product profitability.
In his role at HF Direct, David uses all his left-brain/right-brain powers to drive results for our clients. He works one-on-one with clients to understand their objectives, product offerings, competitive factors and internal processes. He takes a personal interest in developing the most effective marketing and sales strategies to achieve clients’ goals, and views their successes with great pride.
When he’s not creating success stories, David spends his down time with his lovely wife and two daughters. He enjoys taking his daughters to horse shows on the weekends, playing golf, and making it to football games, when he can.

Kim Twitchell
Client Services
“Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”
As Senior Account Manager, Kim spends each workday acting as liaison between clients and the agency.
In this role, Kim oversees client projects from strategic planning and conceptualization through design, implementation, and final analysis. She takes pride in working to ensure projects are accomplished in accordance with priorities, guidelines, timelines, and budgets.
Kim approaches each project with a “keep it simple” attitude. She notes that “in direct marketing, our goal is to be insightful and impactful - with measurable results. Many times, clients and the marketplace tend to want to make things more complicated than they are. Often the best way to elicit a response is to provide a message that’s easy to understand, relevant, and has a clear call-to-action.”
When she’s not helping to simplify project parameters, messaging points, or mailing executions, Kim enjoys a myriad of outdoor activities – especially anything related to the beach!

Ray Brooks
Creative Services
“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”
Ray has over 20 years of experience in the creative field. Most of his experience is in direct marketing. He works with designers and writers who come up with damn good stuff.
He has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the Ringling College of Art in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.
When he is not designing, he’s hiking, camping, cycling, or playing tennis, golf and ultimate frisbee with his two teen aged son (his wife of 18 years would join them if she was an outdoors person!). Ray also does oil paintings and portraits as a hobby with what little time is left.
